Drag future posts to a new time

The PostTempo calendar lets you drag a future scheduled post onto another time in the week. That reschedules the item you grabbed. It does not rewrite the caption, swap the account, or move a post that has already published.

Use it when the plan changes: a launch slipped a day, a reviewer answered late, or the first timing test says the morning slot is wrong. The content calendar template is still useful for the brief. The drag is how the live queue catches up.

What to check after you drop the post

A drag is fast, so the mistakes are fast too. After you drop a post, read the account name, the timezone, and the media before you leave the screen.

Right account

Multi-brand weeks should be opened one workspace at a time so a drop cannot land on another client's profile.

Right day for the test

If you are running a timing experiment, do not drag the post into a random hole. Move it to the next hypothesis on purpose.

Approval still stands

If the copy changed, send it back through approval. Dragging a time is not a new approval of a new caption.

From a suggested week to a real queue

The best-time planner can propose a week. It does not fill the calendar by itself. Import or recreate the posts you intend to publish, then drag only the ones whose time needs to change.

Questions before you schedule

Can I drag a post to another day?

Yes. Drag a future scheduled post to another time on the calendar to reschedule it.

Does dragging change the caption?

No. Dragging changes the scheduled time. Edit the caption separately, and re-approve it if the workflow requires that.

Can I drag a post that already published?

Dragging is for future scheduled posts. A published post stays a published result.

Is the free planner a drag-and-drop calendar?

No. The planner suggests times. The drag-and-drop calendar is the scheduling board inside PostTempo.
